Redskins O-Line Had The ‘Eye of the Tiger’ in Seattle

Not only did the Redskins go into Seattle, the toughest place to play in the NFC, as nine-point underdogs and come away with a victory Sunday, but they did it short four starters on the offensive line.

What they needed was… the eye of the tiger.

“All game long, the O-line, they stayed upbeat,” Cousins said after the 17-14 win. “They had the eye of the tiger all game long and just kept playing, and were resilient.”

“Just proud of the way our guys kept competing,” Cousins added. “There was never any look of defeat or frustration, or complaining, or questioning calls. They just kept playing and kept coming back for more, and today it proved effective.”

It’s abundantly clear, after that lionhearted performance, each victory now calls for a new Rocky quote.

The Redskins (4-4) host the Vikings (6-2) next week.
