Kirk Cousins has had an eventful couple of days.
One day after winning his debut as the Minnesota Vikings quarterback against the San Francisco 49ers, the former Michigan State standout announced that he and his wife Julie have another child on the way.
Cousins, a graduate of Holland Christian High School, revealed the news on social media Monday afternoon by posting a picture of his first-born, Cooper, holding a sign that reads "Mom and dad are getting me a brother!"
"That's right, Cooper!" Cousins wrote. "Expecting another boy in March."
The Cousins, who married in June 2014, became parents for the first time when Cooper was born on Sept. 29, 2017. He weighed in at 9 lbs., 6 oz. at his birth and was born 11 days past his due date of Sept. 18.
Cousins, who signed a three-year contract worth $84 million with the Vikings in the offseason, showed well in the team's 24-16 win against San Francisco, throwing for 244 yards and two touchdowns.
